New Homes on the Market…

South East Minnesota saw a long cold winter with a very slow home sellers market.  Buisnesses closed, companies laid off employees and many homes just sat waiting for their next buyer.

Well the snow has melted and warm weather is here.  So is an increase in the number of homes on the market as well as the number of sold signs appearing around town.  There are currently 3545 homes on the market in SEMN with 1235 in Rochester alone.  And that number is increasing everyday.  With the new residents coming to Mayo in June many homeowners are looking forward to getting offers and moving on to their next home.

Your Home On TV  – Rochesters only weekly home show will be returning to TV this summer in time to help get some of these homes sold.  Offering visual, audio and emotional sales techniques to getting your home sold.  Your Home On TV produces a 20 second video tours with voice-over, music and pictures.  The Newspaper, magazines and free papers can’t offer what Your Home  On TV has to offer or at the price they offer.   Space however is limited.  The 1/2 hour show can only support 70 homes and 10 advertisers per show so, with 1200+ homes on the market there will be many left out.  The good news is that they haven’t reopened the doors yet so there is still time to get your home on TV, just call (507) 244-1222 if you have any questions or visit them at http://www.yourhomeontv.com

Not opening in January

YourHomeOnTV.com will not be opening in the beginning of January.

December is not a good month to get in contact with Realtors and advertisers so, something has to give. I have decided to postpone the reopening of the show until later in the beginning or 2010. Until then we are selling stuff on ebay. Please follow this link if you would like to see what we have http://shop.ebay.com/zapnapsales/m.html

Thanks and have a happy holiday.

Your Home On TV…

I had a meeting the other day with Angela the owner of YourHomeOnTV.com.  The site and company only started a few months ago and is doing really well.  She has a great product and it seems to be well accepted by a few of the local Realtors.  Honestly, I think that ALL Realtors and for that matter For Sale By Owners (FSBO’s) should be using both video and the power of the internet as well as TV to market their properties.

Let’s face it.  Times are hard for the Real Estate market.  Homes are selling a little slower and at lower prices, the magazines are costly and so is the newspaper.  Internet is cheap, videos can be posted for free on several sites that you may have heard of (Google, Yahoo, YouTube, etc.) and are cheaper in the long run to have made.  Heck, if you’re up to teaching yourself, you can even learn to shoot and edit your own videos.  Plus the TV show at YourHomeOnTV.com  runs 7 days a week 3 times a day on Charter Cable for a price that will… I must say it… Shock You!  It is so cheap that I told her she needs to raise her prices!

Anyway, if you have a home that you would like to market on the internet and TV in the Rochester, MN area check out YourHomeOnTV.com  and tell Angela that you heard about it here.

Happy marketing!
